Crap Officiating
Can't believe Matt didn't post this. He was right about the call, it was a strikeout. Officiating is crap this year. Did anyone see that White Sox pitcher get thrown out?
This was the exact same thing that happen to Henderson Alvarez. He gave up 3 homers than hit a guy and without a warning, the umpire threw him out. Absolute crap

Re: Crap Officiating
I didn't post it because I haven't watched the Tigers in about a week. I usually just listen on the radio, but on that day (first game of the series right?) I heard there were like 3 or 4 bad calls listening to the sports talk station all day. The "foul tip drop" by Avila was the big one, and I guess the play at 2nd base where the guy was clearly safe but called out?
This was from the same Ump that had that horrible call against Toronto if I remember right? (The play where the guy at first was called out when he was safe by a mile)
I say this for the NFL and I'll say it for the NHL and MLB. We've got to start holding Refs/Umps accountable, if they fuck up, suspend them, fine them, do something. Don't act like they get every call correct, when they make a call that fucks up a game, DO SOMETHING. Instead of just apologizing and saying "Hey it was a bad call." Make them accountable, if you fuck up, you lose money. Period.
