NFL.com had an Adam Rank list of best football movies because the sport lacks 1 premier stand out movie.
Golf: Caddy Shack
Baseball: Major League, Bad News Bears
Basketball: Hoosiers
Hockey: Slap Shot
What is the sport defining football movie? We have a lot of good football movies but not 1 like Caddy Shack or Major League.
My vote is for Brians Song because it has the one thing football is built on. Emotion. Other movies have drama and comedy but Brians Song is just raw emotion.
