So nobody posted about this but I think this is pretty crazy. So the Pacers forward Chris Copeland got stabbed at a night club couple days ago. Scary enough but what makes it weird is that the Hawks Pero Antic and Thabo Sefolosha got arrested afterwards for obstructing justice. Apparently Sefolosha actually charged at an officer. And now reports are coming out that Sefolosha broke his ankle in the incident and will miss the rest of the season.

Hawks lose two good bench guys because of this (considering Antic would probably be suspended). I would like to know the full story behind all this. A Pacer gets stabbed and then two Hawks players try to obstruct justice? Weird

Pacers guy got stabbed by some random dude. Hawks players were there (coincidence idk). They had nothing to do with the stabbing besides being there.

I'm going to assume that the trio of NBA players were there together. Copeland gets stabbed. Thabo and Pero are yelling at cops or something trying to figure out whats happening. Then idk how tf Thabo broke his leg but that's interesting to me.

so timeline is

1. NBA players at one location for what ever reason
2. NBA player A is stabbed
3. NBA player B and C argue with cops
4. NBA player C breaks leg

Looks like he should have just gone down instead of trying to break free of four cops

i don't think we was trying to break free, i think we just didn't want to go down. We have to acknowledge that city cops are more prone to knock a bitch down than a suburb or rural cop. We just had our proud Atlantic City PD get issued to release a bunch of documents because a judge said, "uh, you guys are way too rough so we need to clean that shit up"

99% of these situations can be avoided by NOT BREAKING THE FUCKING LAW or STOP HANGING WITH ASSHATS WHO BREAK THE FUCKING LAW. That other 1% can sue.

Well a couple things
1. We have some dumb laws IE weed illegal, my buddy Chris had his life ruined over a joint he had
2. Minorities are treated differently by police, any number of reasons why, but it's statistical evidence that says so
3. Cops are predominantly white, I think one figure said 70 or 75% of cops are white
4. The "thin blue line" or internal policing of police is out of wack, there should be different oversight to stop shithead cops
5. there is systematic exploitation of poor areas. Poor folks are preyed upon at check points/traffic stops/etc

Cops in the U.S. have a job to do, I know a lot of them are good, but for the 25% that are fucked in the head, they fuck it up for everyone
