NCAA 12

god I keep trying for an OT game but it always gets to the point where either I'm up by too much, or the difference between the teams is 4,5, or 6 with seconds remaining.

Sad in Dallas! SMU back up QB throws a pick 6 while driving for the go ahead TD to loss 17-7 to UCLA. This drops the Mustangs to 1-2, matching last season's loss total after only 3 games! Starting QB still out another 7 weeks with torn shoulder.

finnally got a used copy at gamestop (online pass still worked!). cost me 15 dollars and some games i havent touched in months. im about to start my dynasty with san jose state being a head coach.

This game pisses me off. On Heisman mode, on 2nd and 20's the CPU runs like HB draws and picks up 30 yards or does a QB scramble and picks up 10. Might have to go to some sliders.

So I lost 7 to 40... Has to be the worst game I have ever played. Man, that was horrific. Three straight losses. By god, I am hoping that I can turn this around. It's not the worst score I have had (close though) but still, really really really bad. Like, really bad. I don't know who to start, because i just played my two best QB's and they both played fer shit.

I found these sliders and they seem good. Change the facemask to around 56, and maybe increase the human passer accuracy / decreasing the CPU pass coverage a little, but overall these are really good. I got these from OS.

Difficulty: All-american (default game setting, I showed last year using speed testing that varsity gives player a boost and heisman penalizes the human players statistics)
Speed threshold: 50 (appears to be correct this year)
Game speed: Normal
Quarter length: 9-11 minutes (there should be 130-150 plays total per game, about 65-70 per team; make sure you adjust for your clock management style to get realistic statistics and yardage--I use 11)

Human/CPU
QB accuracy: 40/50 (does not effect long range passing)
Pass blocking: 50/55 (appears to be fairly accurate, CPU needs help if you control linemen)
WR catching: 40/40 (gives 3-4 drops per game)
RB ability: 55/60 (slight boost to YPC and shed tackles seemed needed)
Run blocking: 50/50 (increases blocking on second level and big/TD runs)
Pass coverage: 40/50
Pass rush: 40/50
Interceptions: 25/25 (gives 1-2 per game)
Rush defense: 50/50 (effects YPC particularly inside and more big plays but not more TD, CPU needs minor help; increases TFL stat)
Tackling: 40/40 (Broken tackle goal of 3-7 range, avg 4.5/game)
FG power: 45/40
FG accuracy: 30/40
Punting power: 40/45
Punting accuracy: 50/50

Ill try these Sliders out in my 5th Season. Besides the 9 Minutes. I like using the 7 minutes. It gives me realistic play numbers.

Maybe I will give it 8 minutes, because I do believe time and Sliders work together. 8 would be closer then 9. But noway could I play 11 minute Quarters.

Here is the link. If you want to comment on them, I recommend to use OS if you have a username. You can see on the link all the time he spent into creating these, and if it's in dynasty mode, the realistic percentage of run vs. pass for each team.

I lost a major heart breaker too FSU. During Regulation, I score a TD that puts me up by 4 with a minute and a half left. They march down the field and score, leaving me 25 seconds. I SCORE! Overtime, and it goes into OT4. Sadly, losing by a Touchdown. My Defense can SUCK MY DICK.

Right now I have a 51% aproval ranking with two years. If I can win one game, I get a decent boost. If I win out (Clemson, Wake, and NC State) then I cant another major boost. That should put me in a postion to get a HC job. If I can't win out, I will hopefully at least get one offer as a HC. I am sick and tired of Coordinating, it's great and all but, I am ready to start my Head Coaching Career!

Heres the schedule. I have a small advantage over Clemson, but Clemson is playing at home and they are a Top 25 Stadium. That is a pain in the ass. Wake Forest is weak, so that should be my definite win at home. That leaves me with 22# Ranked NC State. NC state was 5th ranked fifth early in the season, but fell. The team should be tough but, I think I can beat them.

Breakdown:One of the games should be a lock down win. One game should be a real nail biter. One game will be a game that will involve stepping up.

So in my road to glory as a RB (no ironman stuff) i decide to go to stanford...

First season i'm a fucking beast in practice. Running over, through, and around Stanford defenders like i was a football god and they were but mere minions. But in the games i'm average. lol. just average.

In fact against UCLA my (stupid) HC gave me 5, yes five, run plays (yes im the starter). We lose my 21. We were #1 at the time and UCLA was unranked and it was a home game for us.

lol last night I played against an unranked 6-4 Alabama..and I too was unranked at 5-4...my first three offensive plays were fumbles and 4/6 of my first plays were fumbles..I play 5minute quarters and I was losing 24-0 by 3:23 in the first?

Its possible... in a couple of my Offline dynasties after two unranked seasons Saban got canned.

Man, that's odd. You would think that Alabama would stay on top with what they have at Recruiting options. For me it seems like they are stuck in the top 25.

I'm back in good graces after two BIG wins against #6 TCU and a pretty good Houston team. 4-2 and really pooring on the offense.

lol as Boise State I lost to Colorado State...but it was only because I was TRYING to have an overtime game and I basically let CSU score with 10 seconds left...then in OT I was offense first and I got to the 1 and they "stopped" four straight 'FB Dives'(even though on some occasions my FB was laying on the line...then on the CSU possession, on the very first play, the QB broke three tackles and ran 25 yards for the TD.....lol

and wtf is this, on the first year of every dynasty I start I make my own recruit who is amazing, but has some fatal flaw(so I don't own too much)..this time I made an incredible QB who struggled with injuries so his abilities wouldn't help me for long..so I managed to recruit him and he indeed struggles with injuries all throughout his Freshman year..he ended with around 15 TDs 7 INTs and a ton of rushing yards..when it gets to the end of the year it says he wants to transfer..(he had a 99 in all vital QB attributes and then a 20 in injury at the start of the year)...I tried to persuade him to stay but he refused and when I looked at his attributes again he still had 99s but he now had an 80something in injury...I've created a monster who will probably come back to kill me when I finally reach a BCS game..

Exactly why I rarely make my own Recruits, unless I am aware of that happening! Or if I make semi average guys, which is what I usually od.

So just played the Clemson game, got thrashed 27-9. It cut like a knife. My next game should be a gurranteed win, then off to NC State where it will be tough. Should be interesting though. Looks like I am not going to be in a very good bowl/bowl game at all.

The Players must be heartbroken after today. Coming into Road Territory huge underdogs, these guys had a great chance of pulling the upset, and almost did. A true heartbreaker for the Fans, coaches, and players.

So pretty much this will sum up the game:

The Defense Scored for me once and the Defense scored for FIU once. My Defense, Shutdown. My Offense, boss. Not much to say though, for playing FIU.


At least it's a bowl game though.

Going into year 5 of my Dynasty, my Maryland Terp team looks very good.

Offensive Wise, I have a young Freshman Starter who is a 79 ranked, but plays lights out. Great speed, A balanced Power/Accuracy rating, and just a phenom. Oh and did I mention, his name is actually Mike Hawk. (Not joking, when I saw this guy's name was Mike Hawk, I jumped on it)

My Running game has two 90 Seniors, who have been with me for a while. They will defenitely help. Recieving wise, I have a lot of Senior stars. 86, 84, 83, 81. I have my 81 playing slot, and is a true blazer.

Offensive Line is weak, which is going to hurt me in those big games.

Defense, pretty good. It's not great but it is much improved from last year.

So far I have played one game against ECU. I wiped the floor with them 55-21. My Offense was on Fire, but giving up 21 points to ECU is never good. My Freshman QB was a complete star out there, only throwing one pick. No Fumbles either. The Defense needs to step it up for when I start playing tougher teams.

Now it's off to face Ohio, a newly Big East team. We should win, but it will not be a Cakewalk.
