Sad thing is though, Edwin is killing it this month, and he isn't even top 5 in AL All-star game voting for first base or DH. Jays get no love in All-Star voting. Nick Castellanos is ahead of Brett Lawrie. Carlos Beltran, having a shit year, is ahead of Melky Cabrera for Outfielders. Come on guys

You mad bro?

My sexy third baseman is better than yours!

Ours is a rookie! He's playing good, but I don't think he's all star good, not even close, yet.

HA! Lawrie is ahead of him now. And the Melk Man and Joey Bats are starting outfielders at this point

Yeah Tigers are like 4-13 in their last 17 games. I never get to watch them so I have no clue what's going on.

in both good and bad. You have basically 9 guys who can hit but there are stretches where it's like "where is everyone? they on the DL?". Overall it's good and they can knock the shit out the ball

Not saying you should be that yankees team that won 120 games but you should have a better record. It is primarily on the starting pitching. Porcello, Verlander, and Sanchez are off their average season pace.

the ERA of the pitching staff is fairly higher than previous seasons. They are off their pace.

Well lets look at their hitting too. It's Miggy, Victor, Kinsler, then drop off. Castellanos might be good one day but he's not great right now. Austin Jackson has leveled off as an average hitter. Then you got questions at LF, a future hole in RF when Torii Hunter retires, Avila shit at hitting, and questions on whether or not Jose Iglasias will ever get back to hitting like he did last season when he comes back next year.

It's really up to the pitching staff. Miggy can win you some games, but the pitching is what really has led the Tigers to where they were in my opinion.

you don't need 5 all star pitchers with their line up. They will get you 3-5 runs a game on average, 6-9 when everyone is clicking.

When the starting rotation gets in a groove and the bull pen is worked good, they'll be back on track

The fuck are you talking about Epic.

Porcello is arguably having his best year right now, he's had a couple rough starts, but still has like 8 wins.
Verlander has been bad.
Scherzer may not be Cy Young material right now but he's still really good.
Hell Anibal has a 2.44 era and a .91 Whip.

Like Hurp said, outside of pretty much Miggy and Martinez the hitting drops off. Austin had a 300 average after April and now it's down to 240 area. Avila can barely hit his weight, but Castellanos has really picked his hitting up lately.

Has the pitching staff struggled lately? Yeah, but the offense isn't helping out at all.

Speaking of the Mets, that deGrom pitcher can hit pretty well. Maybe he can play 3rd for you since David Wright is struggling

Kershaw had statistically the most dominate game (sabermetrics, I saw an article, what ever) last week followed up by 8 scoreless. Hitters aren't patient any more. All these no hitters and perfect games, guys are selfish at the plate

Too many lawyers and too many people suing people over stupid stuff. A company has a chemical leak and ruins your water supply, sue them to prevent that shit from happening again. You get your feelings hurt because someone made fun of you from sleeping at a sporting event?grow up dude. Stop thinking you won the lottery with this. It's almost like the guy who sued the Bulls because Rose got hurt and he suffered "metal stress" that causes him to go to McDonalds and gain 200lbs.

This is never going to happen. People have to learn to read the contracts that they approve of. (look at the back of the ticket stub). People are fucking stupid.

I hate lawsuits. There are way too many. You're right, he won't win. But they will take pity on this fuck face and pay for his legal fees and say, "leave us alone you lonely piece of shit."

For every legitimate lawsuit, there are 20-30 that are meaningless and pointless not to mention avoidable. "Oh you suing coke because you're a moron and left cans in the freezer? I feel bad for you son" nope.

I don't really know what to think. Price is a beast, but our problem hasn't been pitching. Probably just a good safety net for when/if we lose Scherzer.
