Upsets
So we had two big upsets. Wisconsin and Oklahoma. both really really good games to watch. In boxing terms, msu-winsconsin game was leonard/hagler where it was just two beasts matching blow for blow and of course ending in a controversy, while ttu-ou was douglas/tyson
1st game. MSU over Wisconsin. marvelous game. very entertaining, slightly sloppy but two heavy weight teams putting on a performance both can be proud of. of course it is a converted QB to WR to catch the GW td.
ttu-ou. ou came in expecting to win and gave ttu no respect what so ever. landry jones made a ton of over throws, still had good stats, but had a poor game overall. seth doege played his balls off, he was making pin point passes short, medium, and deep down the field, in the 2nd half when OU was getting pressure, anytime he got hit he jumped up, showed a lot courage and poise.
what bothered me was OU fans. when the score became 41-24 ttu, OU fans began to file out, the fans were booing any play that wasnt a TD, i heard OU fans heckling TTU fans, they really showed their true colors tonight. I get it isnt ever fun to watch your team get upset and play poorly but they really behaved like spoiled brats.
overall a pretty good week in college football
