I wasnt alive to watch Tom Seaver, I wasnt alive to see 2 world series, I was alive to see any of the great mets moments really. I was alive to see the mets collapse a division lead....twice. This one moment means a shit load to me. Santana coming of a year off from injury, a team with david wright and a bunch of AAA guys, sitting through tons of games that drain the life out of you, being the ONLY mets fan anywhere I go.

I finally get this one thing to be happy about. not going to lie. got teary eyed, dont judge, Im not gay, I just dont have much to route for as a mets fan. Yankees fans have an all star team every year, phillies fans...fucky phillies fans
