MLB2K11 VS MLB2K 12?

I was looking at games on demand on xbox live and saw MLB 2k11 wasnt that expensive compared to 2k12. Is it that much different from 2k12 besides updated rosters? Ive been looking to get a baseball game for awhile now. I could prob live without updated rosters as Id want to take a turn the orioles around in franchise mode.....

dude, get MLB 2004 by EA on PC...it blows every Baseball game away and the best thing about it is the online leagues that still play have current rosters

I liked MLB 2K12 but it had a bunch of flaws that are really highlighted now by the fact that I have MLB the Show. When you watch the animations compared to the Show, it's just awful. In terms of whether it's better or not than MLB 2K11, I'm not sure but I think a lot of people thought 2K12 was better. In reality, I think it's mostly gameplay fixes that have been worked on the most in the last two years so 2K12 will probably have better gameplay. Also, the updated rosters aren't a problem since there's people who probably have uploaded rosters on 2K11 that have the updated rosters

I mean updated to this current years rosters, like our pitcher Chen on the roster, etc. Unless its not like madden when it continues to update after the new game comes out?

Some people who still play MLB 2K11 probably update the rosters and create these players and add them to the team. I know on MLB 2K12, a lot of people update the rosters and upload them. I remember on NBA 2K11, there were updated rosters for the 2012 season with players like Kyrie Irving in it
