Favorite Player so far
What's your favorite player so far this year? Post a vid of some highlights.
Mine's Russell Wilson. Kid is a baller. 3rd round pick, Really only major analyst that liked Wilson as a starter was Gruden. Colts' ex GM Bill Polian went as far as call Wilson a good backup QB and nothing more.
So pumped. I'm hoping he can keep it up the rest of his career. If so the Hawks might actually have drafted a great QB.

Luke Keuchly and Cam
Luke is a absolute stud at the MLB position and should lead that defense for the next 15 years, if Beason can come back and play the OLB spot our LB core will be dirty.
And of course Cam, he is progressing even though the media seems to shoot him down every chance they get. He's actually playing better this year than he was last year. He just doesn't have as many TDs do to our BS play calling.

Laron Landry and Mo Wilkerson
Landry has done nothing but put huge hits on our opponents and make big plays, Mo Wilk is the 2nd most dominant 3-4 DE/DT in the NFL behind only JJ Watt...hopefully we resign Landry longterm and we dont trade Wilkerson like we have traded sooo many other great DE/DTs in the past ( Hugh Douglas, John Abraham etc etc )

We need to keep Rex for next year because Mo, Quinten, and Ellis is a great D-line. Harris and the rookie are two good inside guys. We need 2 pass rushers on the outside and we can have a great defense. Dont let the offensive struggles force rex out because rex isnt the problem.

my whole problem with Rex is that hes brain-dead when it comes to the offensive side of the ball, he knows NOTHING about it and to be a succesful HC in the NFL you NEED to have knowledge of all 3 phases of the game...also Rex doesnt hold anybody accountable for thier bad play, even on Defense he consistently uses old goats that are garbage in coverage ( Bart Scott, Calvin Pace, Eric Smith etc etc) and refuses to play his younger faster talent, the bad play by our old LBs is even dragging down our talented ILB David Harris and stunting the growth of our future..I dont believe Rex is a good HC, hes a great DC and a great all around people person but hes in over his head as HC, hes too buddy-buddy with the players and as we have all seen it wears out after about 2 seasons, the players dont look at him as a leader, they look at him as a friend or somebody they dont have to answer to, IMHO i hope to hell we demote Rex to DC and hire Bill Cowher to be our HC, that is if our owner Woody Johnson isnt too busy vacationing somewhere to actually interview Cowher ..smh...also Coples has played less than 35% of the defensive plays this season, wtf

We have defensive talent. We need a guy who has an extensive belief and ability in the 3-4 because its build on the inside that way. If we get a new coach and he blows up the defense, we are fucked for the next 5 or so years

we DONT have the talent to be a dominant 3-4 Defense, we are actually better suited for a 4-3 or 5-2/46 D right now...when we had The Beast Kris Jenkins in the middle we had the prototype 3-4 setup but now our guys are too small on the line for it and too slow at the LB position for it to be effective...we need Kenric Ellis at NT,Mo Wilk and Coples at DE with Demorio Davis on OLB and the guy we cut Aaron Maybin as other OLB with David Harris and Garret Mcyntyre as ILB..Rex doesnt seem to see it that way but all of us fans do, just like we see that Mcelroy is our best option and Sanchez sucks, but then again, we have Rex making these calls

Re: Favorite Player so far
We have 3 good defensive line men, and 2 great inner linebackers. we need 2 guys on the outside who can rush the qb. We have 3 good corners and 2 decent safeties.

just because we have 3 good D linemen doesnt mean they can succeed in the 3-4, i agree our bookends fit perfectly ( Mo Wilk and quintan Coples) but the MAIN ingredient is missing, we need that immovable object in the middle and i dont see Sione Pouha or Mike Devito being that object, look around the league and you will see only a couple teams can use the 3-4 effectively and those teams have HUGE NTs...if Kenric Ellis can get more playing time and stay healthy, I think he could be the answer but Rex rarely plays the big guy..at ILB i love David Harris but he needs another legitimate guy next to him and on the Outside we need to dump Calvin Pace, hes just to dam slow and hes rarely in position to make a play, i hate seeing him slowly trying to reach the QB or getting beat to the edge by a HB, our D needs an overhaul
