I was visiting the EA Forums to go tell them to get off their ass and fix the rosters for NHL 13, when I stumbled along this thread: http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/9249408.page

This might be the greatest customer service EVER!


I'm in the same situation... I buy the game every year buying all the boost for eashl on both ps3 and xbox but they don't care. I got a big lag issue on ps3 i cant even play the game anymore. Look at my case:

First sorry for my english.
I have a really big lag issue problem. I want to say first that multiple case number were open about this problem. I did ALL the testing that support ask me to do (delete profil, save games, changing ID, close media server, play in the modem directly, port foward etc). Recently, I thought problem was on my side. Maybe the PS3 or the disc itself but no. The reason why I tell you no is because I just bought a new PS3 and a new copy of nhl. Also the problem has nothing to do with my connection since a don’t get that lag on xbox. I have played about 230 game on PS3. The first 20 games I have played lag a lot. That was only in OTP. Ea fixed that problem. After that I was not lagging for about 150 games. I mean, sometime the game lag a bit but it was playable. I Know that some games may lag once a while and its OK, I can live with that. But now the lag has become worst and worst. Now the sound is also cutting maybe 10 times a game for about half of a second. Every single I'm playing are lagging the same lag. I repeat that I do not get that lag on Xbox at all. EA keeps telling me I will receive an email from support but I never got it.

I'm sorry again for my English. I really hope that someone from ea can help me since the problem don't appear to be from my side.

Can you take a 'screenshot' of the error message screen the next time this happens and send it to me? Then I can see what you're seeing, and that will help me get a good idea on where to start in troubleshooting this problem with you.

To save a screenshot, simply hit the 'PRINT SCREEN' key when the screen you want to save appears. The Print Screen key is usually located above the arrow keys on most keyboards.

To save the screenshot:

- Click the 'START' button.
- Choose 'RUN'.
- Type 'MSPAINT' in the text field.
- Click the [RUN] button and Microsoft Paint will open.
- Once PAINT has opened, click the 'EDIT' menu and click 'PASTE'.
- It may ask if you want to enlarge the bitmap, go ahead and click YES.
- Once the screen appears, click 'File' on the top menu, then 'Save'
- Give the file a name, and choose '.jpg' or 'jpeg' as the file type.
- Click [save] and make sure to save the file somewhere on your computer where you can find it.

To send us the screenshot:

- Please visit www.help.ea.com
- Log-in to the Customer Portal and select "My Cases”.
- Locate the correct case
- Click "BROWSE" and locate the file to be attached.
- Add a note regarding the attachment.
- Click "ADD NOTE"
- Wait for some time while the file has been attached.

ME: Hi thanks for such a quick respond! And thanks for trying to help. With all my respect, i don't think you understood the issue correctly. How can i get an error message on PC while playing NHL13 on PS3? My problem is that i'm lagging every single game on PS3. I don't lag at all on XBOX360. I tried everything possible on my hands to find a solution. I also buy a new PS3 and a new copy of NHL13 and the issue is still there. I'm using the same internet cable and HDMI that i'm using with my XBOX360 and i'm lagging. I play on EA sports hockey league (OTP) i realy need you to escalate the case to a specialist of NHL13 that can change the route beetween NHL13 server and my connection. I repeat that i don't lag at all on XBOX 360 playing the same game in OTP with the same cables and settings so the issue come from your side.

LOL! It appears you have a problem on your PS3, why don't you go ahead and print screen your PC whenever that happens. Then I can verify whether or not you're watching porn. That might be the problem with the lag on your PS3.

I mean seriously, don't they know they don't have NHL 13 for PC? Come on man!
