Seems to me its just an excuse for the drunkards to have a day off the next day to recover from their hangovers. The way it is now I don't understand why they just don't make Super Bowl Sunday a national holiday anyway, they hype it up just as much as a holiday now....

How much work ACTUALLY gets done that Monday anyway? Would it be crazy to say 1 out of 4 people call in that day off? Why not just say F it and call it holiday and everyone's happy.

because we already have enough holidays. shit, we cant make everyone happy and not everyone watches the super bowl. some assholes watch shit like the puppy bowl and what not. the NFL is big but we didnt have holidays for the world series when baseball was the #1 sport. We only had holidays when we whooped Nazi and Jap ass. VE and VJ day mother fuckers
