2 tracks I would like opinions on

Ok, so we are still working on the album and we recorded 2 tracks. 1 is unpolished and the other is an acoustic transition.

1st song sounds off and we plan on re-recording it. but just the over all feel and shit of it. 2nd is basically finished, it sounds beautiful.

second has a early sabbath feel. not bad. my only critiques would be the lead volume needs to be upped during transitions and could use more disrinqished variations during those transitions to keep from being repetitive. And the cymbals, too fuckin loud. i couldnt turn it up to even hear if u had any1 playn bass. lol

Please realize most of my suggestions probably are $$$ issues rather than talent problems. Its alot better than i expected.

Mixing costs money. But I like where ur at so far.

nah, i record everything in my basement with my own equipment. we are still experimenting with different stuff. we record onto a digital recorder with 8 tracks on it, but to save space we use a PA system to have the 7 mics to record the drums.

as for mixing...its free. downloaded adobe audition for free.

everything will get re-re-re-re-recorded eventually until we end up with tracks that sound good enough.

turned down the drums a bit, highlighted solos and solo-ish parts, melted the vocals in better (at least i think i did) with the rest of the song so they arent overwhelmed or overwhelming. just let me know.

FYI- probably going to end up re-recording The Sluagh lead guitar part and the Organized Chaos whole songs.
