I didn't even read the article, I just read the headline.

Buying low is bad? Really? You're fucking kidding me right?

Sorry Pats, you spent a 7th (was it a 7th?) round pick on a player who MADE the team and STARTED a couple of games, but then he got arrested for SUSPICION of drunk driving.


No the media is right. The Patriots should have 53 choir boys. You know where that will get them? FUCKING NO WHERE! The Lions had one of the lowest arrest records in the NFL the past decade or so (2012 offseason fucked it up.) Look how many wins the Lions had to show for it. What is it, a grand total of like 25 wins from 2000-2010?

The fact that the headline was "buying low" costs the patriots again. NO IT FUCKING DIDN'T! What did it cost them? Should they have drafted another player that would be out of the NFL, for lack of talent? Or should they draft a player that, before the 2011 college football season, was projected as a 1st round pick, has some questionable character issues but will play a role on the team?

you take a guy in the 1st, 2nd, and even 3rd round with character issues, and it blows up, yea that is high risk. 4th - 7th is no holds bar because who gives a shit about the 4th - 7th picks

Nope according to the media, if you draft someone in the 7th round who even gets a speeding ticket you fucked up.
