The XP is No Good!

So Goodell is thinking about getting rid of the XP because it's "to boring".

What the fuck. If you're trying to make the game more exciting then why'd you eliminate kickoffs?

You know whats boring? Is back to back TV time outs (after a PAT and after Kickoff)
You know whats boring? Reviews every 5 minutes because we don't know what a catch is
You know whats boring? Flags every other play because someone got touched
You know whats boring? Watching a game in London

Fuck Goodell.

i was listening to mike and mike this morning and i actually like greenburgs suggestion of moving the ball to the 1 yard line so coaches have a tougher choice between going for 1 or 2.

outside of that, who cares if 5 PATs were missed all year. those PATs still impacted the game.

Think about it this way, 2 less commercial breaks. The media whores that carry NFL have found more ways to stuff commercials into the game at an alarming rate. Right after a TD, we might get 1 replay before we are reminded for the 40th time of the shitty TV shows that station carries, get the XP live, more shit commercials, kick off, more shit commercials.

We lose 2 commercial breaks if we get rid of the XP. Im all for it.

I especially hate the commercial breaks because usually the feed is taken by a channel that just plays countless ads for the same 4 shows. I get it, the preview for The Following season two is on after the NFC Championship game. You don't need to shove it in my face every commercial break. The best part is when the Niners ran that player right before the two minute warning, right after the ref gave them another second on the clock so they had time to run that play, they were running commercials. So they thought it was the two minute warning and meanwhile, they're running a play. So they cut right back, show the guy making a catch, then 5 seconds later they run the same fucking ads in the same fucking order. Pissed me off

the NFL isnt fucking football anymore. its this blob similar to WWE where its a money grab trying to garner as much fans and money.

When people talk about playing college players i begin to think the d1 football teams will be runned like NFL teams and shit will lose entertainment value. Football and sports in general are changing for the worse because of money grabs
