Silver said he was going to do everything in his power to force him to sell the team. Doesn't make any sense for him to stay around and continue to owe the team. And yeah giving him money for the team isn't much of a punishment but the dude is a poisen and needs to be out of the NBA. peeeeerrrrrantly you need 75% (21 or 22)of the owners to vote Yes on if they want him around and he will be forced to sell the team. Which may or may not be taken to court because they are saying he doesn't do what folks say he should do and cited him taking fired coaches to court over money owed.
