...but I think the NBA has over taken soccer in my list of favourite sports.

I've always liked basketball but never really watched or followed it. Well not a great deal anyway. I became a Bulls fan in the 1990's when I first saw 'Space Jam' and reading of Jordan's expliots in 'SPORTED' magazine (which sadly isn't published anymore).

Living in England also makes it hard to follow. The only channel I can get the NBA on is ESPN and that costs an extra £12 on my digital TV package (it ain't CableTV). Which is like $20 for two channels. I can get those channels free if I switched to another provider, but then I'd have to pay extra for the channels which show NFL games. Fuck sake haha.

Ever since I rented NBA 2K11 my intrest has shot up ten-fold. Luol Deng also has a hand in getting me into the sport more being a fellow Brit that he is.

I've found myself being more interested in the Bulls' play-off campaign than I've been with Manchester United's 19th League title. Even this week where the hype has switched to the Champions League final with Barcelona tomorrow, I've been following the NBA Finals with the Heat.

Talking of the Heat, kudos to them for winning the series. They were clearly the better team. I'm not bitter that they won at all. In typical me fashion, I hope they win the championship. Whenever my teams lose then I hope the victors win the whole lot. That way I know that the better team won when they played us. It worked when the Cardinals lost to the Saints in 2010 and the Saints won the Super Bowl.

It's just a bitch that the season is almost over. Why couldn't I have got NBA 2K11 sooner haha.

Anyway, to end....

DAT MY NIGGA!!

EDIT: Somebody filtered ell oh ell so it reads fuck you. FUCK YOU!

The NBAs okay, but it's my least favorite of the 4 big sports in America, and that's not just because my city doesn't have a team. I mean, it has a lot of star power, and some games can be exciting, but I would sit down and watch a random football, baseball, or hockey game before I watch an NBA game. I get way more into college basketball.

Basketball is the most fun sport to actually play if YOU'RE playing, but I think it's the exact opposite for watching. The first 3 quarters are just back and forth, back and forth, and unless a team is REALLY bad and gives up an obscene lead early on, nothing really matters until later in the 4th quarter. I mean, I guess it's "constant action and scoring" which some people like, but I'll take hockey's constant action with a lack of scoring thta makes each goal and each play that much more critical to the game itself, or baseball's lack of "action" but meticulous style of play where a million different things can happen on any given pitch, or obviously football which had the best of both worlds in this argument, over basketball, which to me has never been much more than 3 quarters of nothing followed by 1 quarter of excitement.

I didnt even mention soccer because obviously it's not big here and the only time it's ever even on tv is the World Cup lol

Yeah, hockey is good too. When I watched it when that ESPN channel I mentioned had a freeview weekend a few months back, I caught a couple of games. Few things in sport are as awesome as seeing someone being smashed into the boards lol.

Ever since I got into the NFL my interest in your sports has increased. It's just hard to Madden 09 has a lot to answer for!

Tends to be like that in America. A lot of people I know seem to have a top sport list. A friend from Detroit is a huge Lions and Pistons fan but doesn't talk about the Red Wings and Tigers as much. No one seems to he a huge fan of the 4 main sports.
