Decided to shuttle a couple trailers today since I got a early doc appointment tommorrow which of course I forgot about but anyway I caught the tailend of a conversation with some tax guy on the NFL channel on sirius. The jist of what I caught was that the NFL could change the cap for teams that live in a high tax state compared to a team that is in a state tax free place. For example Suh signing with the Phins(state tax free) compared to signing with the Raiduhs(13% state tax. highest in the nation). Wished I would have caught more but dam if this don't sound fair cuz players gotta be thinking about their taxes especially high earners like players.

So looking at this definetly they should becuz it is to me an unfair advantage for teams in Fla and other states that are tax free.

when's the last time a team from florida or texas won the super bowl with the salary cap? it isn't an unfair advantage because teams who spend big money dont do shit

no because they may have more property tax, etc. It balances out in other way. Just because you don't pay a state tax doesn't mean those teams have an unfair advantage, it means they have a recruiting pitch. The patriots say, "hey, we have belichick and brady" dolphins say "we have nice weather and less taxes"

Well you may be right. We haven't seen the teams in Fla and Texas winning no championships but the NFL is considering it.
