On one side I can understand trying to knock out the teams best player, whatever to do to win right?

And I'm pretty sure we all want our teams players to get that knockout blow against other teams, but when you pretty much turn it into a game like this it's disgusting. It's almost like an unwritten rule that you NEVER talk about.

I dont have a problem with big hard hits or anything. But when you have players purposely trying to konck out other players and injure them? Im sorry, but thats crossing the line in my opinion. Just play the game. Im not for wimpy football, but I just feel thats going a little to far. Your talking about possibly ruining a players career and or life here. What happens if a player gets an injury that ruins the rest of his life, because some asshole decides to out a bounty on his head in a game, just because its "cool". I know its not outside the realm of possibility in any game, its the fact for me that its uncalled for. What happens if the player gets his leg basically ruined and now cant find another job outside of football? I dont know, I just find it uneccesary.

The warner hit they keep showing is clean to me. Favre is bound to say something like that because Favre is Favre, and he's right.
I'm all for big hits, but doing it after the play is over, taking out players knees to purposely injure them, WHILE getting paid $1500 to do it is just dirty.

I don't find players getting hurt on big hits entertaining or anything,what I' saying is for what they make I would go out there even if bounties were allowed.If me getting fucked up and living through pain for the rest of my life means my Mom's dream house can finally be built or my kids can go to college then sign me up,it's a risk worth taking if you ask me.It obviously would suck if you were barely making any money and this happened,but to me that also is a risk worth taking.
