I hate this 3 day draft schedule. I LOVED Saturday being draft day.

Agreed. I think they should do it like this:
Saturday: First & Second
Sunday: Third & Fourth
Monday: Fifth, sixth and seventh.

Both ideas are better than this stupid 1st round only on Thursday. The only people who watch the draft are hardcore NFL fans anyways so why try to cater to the casual fans who don't give a damn and probably don't know the prospects unless they're a top 10 QB?

Or they could just televise rounds 1-4 and forget rounds 5-7. Hardly anyone prob cares about rounds 5-7 anyway.

That's just unfair to those players and thier families.

Thats right, my appologies, I didnt really think of it that way. But you do have to agree that most fans dont really care about rounds 5-7. Theres some way to solve this.

True, not everyone is making mock drafts and hoping they get the "one guy" in the 5-7 rounds but to completly take it off the air wouldn't be helpful as well, could actually hurt NCAA as well since you won't really watch those smaller college guys because ultimatley if theyre not in the first four rounds then they won't be recognized anyway.

Should do something to adress the way the draft is being handled, that can be taken care of fairly quickly, rather have them just take care of the situation at hand, and that is the lockout.
