Jets to hire Colts OC?
hmmm...just read that the Jets are possibly going to sign former Colts OC Tom Moore as a consultant to help with the Jets RedZone Offense and maybe tweek Sanchez abilities...Moore has been the Colts OC since Peyton Manning has been in the League and could provide helpful insight as to what makes the Colts Offense so deadly, i know Manning is the key there but this guy has been his coach since 1998, we'll see what happens.

he could improve sanchez passing even more and show him what it takes to reach mannings level.
good gamble.

lol, ya thats true, but this guy has been the only OC the Colts have had since Manning got there in 1998, so im sure hes definetly helped make Manning the QB he is today...as far as his job with the Jets is concerned, i guess hes just going to be reviewing film and giving some hints or tips if he sees stuff that needs improvement..it never hurts to have an extra set of eyes with a different perspective instead of just Shottenhiemer doing it all.

Good luck with that then.
That kind of pick up can only help Sanchez out a ton. The guy worked with Peyton Manning and probably devised plays and stuff with him.

Perfect move for the Jets. I can see this helping out Sanchez out big. If it doesn't, I think that is a sign that Sanchez does not have it completely. I think Sanchez does have it, he has had pretty good success. Of course it was not all him, but time will tell.

Re: Jets to hire Colts OC?
he isnt the new OC. He is only coming in to help out with the red zone. basically to say "hey dont throw picks...picks are bad..mkay"
he may make a small impact but I dont think he will do all that much

yea he isnt the OC, hes basically just a "consultant", kinda like what Parcells did in Miami, except this guy is only going to be reviewing tape and throw out a few new ideas...personally i think it will help, maybe some new packages he can let Shotty look over

I don't like Schottenheimer at all.. I think he's actually a good mentor (not as good as Ray Lewis of course) and teacher for Sanchez, but his play calling drives me insane. Just look at the playoff game vs the Steelers on the goalline.. ridiculous. He just seems to get too cute and think he's outsmarting everyone in the red zone. Having a guy like Tom Moore come in and help out can ONLY be a good thing.. I like it.

I agree with TRU, snas gone, why are we still talking about him? His jokes arent funny anymore just annoying, especially when others keep rehashing them over and over...and over again. Its time for everyone to just move on already. Hes gone, personally Im tired of hearing about him (and Im sure others are too), can we just move on?
