See, in an interview, Suter said he and Parise were texting back and forth trying to determine which team would be best for them and only yesterday did they decide on Minnesota

Did I want Parise? Yes, but so did 30 other teams and every fan in the NHL, but I thought we had maybe a 5% chance of getting him. Never really thought we would seriously get him, Suter I thought for sure was coming to Detroit, that's why I was pissed.
