As much as I hate the Jest, Revis is just plain nasty.

This all part of my week 5 plan for the Jest....

Injuries happen to everybody, i just hope Kyle Wilson can be at least half of what Revis is, actually Wilson shouldnt have a huge problem in stepping up to the plate, he was drafted as a LCB/RCB and the Jets forced him to play NickelBack, we will see how it goes

but back to the comment, Kyle Wilson was touted as the 1st or 2nd best talented CB in the Draft ( i think Joe Haden was slated as the best) his natural talent comes at playing 1 on 1 with and outside WR, the Jets were already stacked at the position with Revis and Cro, so Wilson has been thrown into the fire and assumed a tougher task of covering the Slot...I have no idea how this will turn out and Im not making any predictions here, I am anxious though to see how this turns out...with Rex, i still feel pretty confident in our sucess, he knows how to move players around to maximize thier talents.

Kyle wilson is a good man coverage guy when he can use the sideline. I think his time at nickle will help him become a better over all corner.

The jets take a hit but ESPN is playing it up like the jets D was built around him. He is a corner, you dont build a defense around 1 guy. Yes he took away 1 receiver but the jets were playing more zone this year and last so not as huge of a loss as it sounds. I am more worried about the run defense, we need to fix that.

im not downplaying its fact that its a big loss. but he isnt part of the front 7, he takes away 1 receiver on 3rd down. people just neglect throwing to him. what ever. wilson goes in, defense changes. season isnt over.

I will agree that our front 7 hasnt looked very sharp this season and that i have noticed ALOT of Zone coverage by the CBs also, with that said, EPIC does make a good point, basically ANY CB in the league can play a Cover 2 or 3 Zone Under/Over, not many can play Man to Man and thats what makes Revis so good, but then again if the D isnt using Man to Man like i havent seen an abundance of all season, then what? Im still holding my breath on this one until i see Wilson perform this sunday
