League of Denial Empty League of Denial

So they were talking about the movie Concussion on the radio today and one of the hosts brought up the fact that the NFL got their hands on it and was able to take out some of the worse parts of the movie. Which brought up the subject of "would you go see it?" and that "Will Smith is a terrible actor."

Anyway, after a while, the documentary "League of Denial" got brought up and they said it was on Netflix.

If you follow the NFL, follow the safety of football or have kids I would STRONGLY recommend watching this. It was very informational about how disgustingly evil the NFL is. While I understand why the NFL covered up the fact about concussions, it is disgusting that they gave it no merit and did everything they could to cover it up for as long as they could while defaming several researchers along the way.

It's very interesting to watch if you have a 2 hours to spare, but damn is it worth it. You can make your own judgement about the NFL/Concussion topic and while I see points to both sides, I would lean towards the safety and the fact that CTE could possibly be a result of football.

Why is it shocking? Boxers are punch drunk etc. Other violent sports.

I think the game is as safe as it can be with helmets. Removing helmets would make it safer

Epic, you'd love the documentary.

It's not shocking that it happens. It's shocking that the NFL knew about this 21 years ago and covered it up so much as to ruin peoples careers that tried to bring it public.

I saw it. The problem with concussions is the secondary stuff. Keeping concussed guys in the game. Another problem is not teaching proper tackling. For as much as the NFL markets the heads up, too many guys put their head and neck down.

It's just still all hypocrisy
