Madden NFL 13 Title Update #2 will be available tomorrow on the Xbox 360 & PS3. The update includes a new instant start option when creating your player in Connected Careers, numerous stability fixes, and GameFace improvements.

We’d also like to remind fans who have been asking about the ability to edit players and rosters in Connected Careers that based on your feedback, the development team is currently exploring the potential option to include additional functionality in Madden NFL 13 in an upcoming title update. We’ll update you with more information in the coming weeks after the team has time to investigate and assess the situation.

So they're exploring edit players in connected careers. Cool.

I rented this last week. Unimpressed as usual.

Why the hell does EA think removing features every year only to bring them back a few years later is a good idea? Then why do tehy promote them as new?

Typical EA, lock up the license and shit all over a quality product. As if Donnie Moore wasnt bad enough with his horrid stats based off of 20 second game clips on Sportcenter on Tuesday mornings, they remove features and act as if they are doing the customer a favor by bringin said feature back years later while claiming they listen to the community ala customer playbooks.

Ive said it before and I'' say it again, FUCK YOU EA. 3 years in a row I have rented this shit from your company as you insist on your bullshit "season passes" and "online pass" codes as if you planned to keep a game online for more than 2 years on your FUCKING TERRIBLE LAGFEST servers that haven't been addressed in any game for years.

Ohh and the freezing. WTF. Does anybody at EA beta test this shit? Apparently getting up to power off my system is a normal thing with every EA release. I cant remember a Madden game that Ive rented in the past 5 years that didnt constantly freeze.

When will people get sick of this piss poor quality shit they buy every year and demand better/more for thier money?

If COD or BF came out with less options like only giving us TDM and instead of other modes they tried to get us to buy more shit (MUT) and told us to wait till next yr for more modes people would be flipping out!

Not with Madden though. Its ok for thier devs to put out half a game for full price and fuck the customer (again).

I'll agree with you on some of these things RSox. I haven't played the game in a while because I just hate these rosters. They're brutal. They set them up to show the active rosters PLUS the practice squad. Well fuck EA, did you forget you don't have practice squads in this game? THEN, they don't have ANY updated ratings. Andrew Hawkins, who is clearly a good slot receiver, is at the bottom of the Bengals list of receivers. How the fuck does that work?

Schemes I don't understand either because they never properly reflect what the team actually does. I mean, why would ANY of the ratings change when you start a connected career? They got those stats by playing ON THAT TEAM! So why would their ratings change?

I don't mind the XP stuff, I just hate the fact that it's improperly balanced. No young rookie is gonna succeed because if he's 5th on the depth chart, he won't get playing time and therefore, won't get XP. And for some reason, O-Line gain the most XP. So I could have a solid O-Line, but shit everywhere else.

The thing I will say though is that if they actually get a good roster update (which probably won't happen because it's Donny Whore), I will play because I love the gameplay. They actually got that right. For once, they got the gameplay down. That was the biggest thing we were complaining about before and now it's nice.

Just let us edit the rosters and that would be good enough. I wish they would patch it so we could

It should take 2 seconds... because if that's the rating he should be at, then he should be at that rating

I got the game from a friend recently and I want to know why All-madden is so easy. There is hardly even a challenge when playing as the 71 overall colts against the 84 overall bears. The only hard part about the gameplay is when you're in practice against that generic team. They're actually pretty difficult

Doubt it. Ive only played all-madden for 3 weeks on 12 and only today on 13. Defense was really hard in 12 though where as it seems easier on 13
