3 Vancouver Over 6 San Jose in 7 (Really want to pick San Jose in 7)

5 LA over 4 St. Louis in 6

1st Round East:

1 Pitt OVER 8 NY in 5

7 Ottawa OVER 2 Montreal in 7

2nd Round West:

But for real, Detroit is getting hot at the right time and they beat Anaheim back to back when they were the hottest team in the league. I think Detroit can beat the Ducks, after that who knows.

I would love to sse the Bruins in the finals but their inconsistencies wont let them past rnd 2. Too bad cause I love watchn Yagr play.

Leafs down 4-1 at the second intermission... we're off to a great start

Shots: 40 for Boston, 20 for Toronto. Yup, that looks like a Leafs game. You can just tell there's gonna be so many ejections in this series. The refs missed one where a Leaf speared Brad Marchand and he retaliates by swinging his stick around trying to slash the guy.

That Red Wangs vs. Ducks game looked really good last night. Might be the most entertaining series to watch

(because I didn't have a chance to get online after the game.)

Refs sucked, for both teams. Tons of missed calls and calls that were made that shouldn't have been. Terrible, I hate hockey refs.

So Red Wangs lost and Leafs won. Boy oh boy.

Also, my friend got one of those Budweiser Red Light things and it is fucking awesome. I thought there would be a delay but it actually goes off just before they score on the TV. It is awesome! You can even set it to tell you 5 minutes before a game starts and so it says "5 minutes before game time, better get ready with some Buds" or something like that.

Several 5-3s, a 5 minute "charging/game misconduct" bullshit penalty, like 40 minutes of penalties in the game and everyone getting thrown out of the faceoff circle, this is playoff hockey, get that shit out of here. I want to see 5-5 hard hitting hockey, not this shit. Fuck playoff refs.

Ya refs sucked in this Leafs game. My goodness. Apparently elbowing a guy in the face then dragging him down is legal. It's also legal for you to secretly change when you have an icing, then slowly go back on the ice when you get caught about a minute later. I'm no expert, but I'm quite sure that's a fucking delay of game

Dude, I don't care what teams are playing. Playoff Refs suck dick. It's to fucking inconsistent and stupid.

Look at the Wings-Ducks, there were like 30 combined penalties or some shit the first 3 games, then we have like 3 TOTAL in game 4. What?

Maybe that's why I hate playoff refs, they're all inconsistent and they suck. One thing that pisses me off the most is the faceoffs, it hasn't been as bad this year, but it's still bad. Someone, or both, get(s) thrown out of the faceoff circle every time.

16 games have gone into overtime already. Ties the record they set last year for round one. This is why NHL playoffs are better than any other. Always tight and always well fought.

Hell Detroit-Anaheim have most of those lol. What is it 4 of the 6 went into OT. Game 7 tomorrow is gonna be epic.

Also, when Hockey goes into OT, there's no commercials and you're always on the edge of your seat, because in 1 second it could all be over.

the are more competitive. hockey series compared to basketball and baseball arent affected by time and lay off. the tigers had to wait to see who to play in the WS and it fucked their timing and shit off not to mention the giants pitching staff. basketball series are hit or miss. usually not all too great until the conference and championship series

Baseball isn't as exciting because there's to much down time. Weather it's between series or between pitches.

Hockey- Is the ultimate poker game. You never know who's going to win. You saw New York put up an impressive fight against Pittsburgh, you saw Ottawa beat Montreal. You saw the LA Kings win the Cup last year. Plus the fact that there's ALWAYS something going on during a hockey game. Play doesn't stop at chunks at a time like baseball or football. It's constant action, and Hockey OT Playoffs, is the ultimate sporting experience, because it's constant action sudden death.
