The Barca inclusion suprises me a little since their team is made up of mainly home grown talent whereas Madrid - like the Yankees - seem to buy their players from other teams.

well this is about the average saleries of the starting players.

take in consideration that will a team like real players like ronaldo cassilas and alonso have huge salaries which drives the average up.

basicially you cant really measure the different sports.

i wonder what the first team is cause basketbal should be tops because the first team consist of just 5 players where soccer and football have 11 players.
