ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL! On Wednesday?
The 2012 season opener will be played on Wednesday..for some reason. The last time there was an NFL game on Wednesday was 9/22/48 Rams-Lions.
(According to the Detroit Freepress Twitter account)
Ah they're moving the game up one day to prevent conflict with Obamas speech

You mean Mr Plastic man? Or, Mr. "Im just like everybody else" Man?
I swear, since I registered to vote, there hasnt been one canidate Ive liked. Why cant there just be ONE guy out there that I would vote for that has the "total package" in views (morals, etc), handling money, running the country the right way, etc? I know its very rare, but come on?

If you remember, I'm a Ron Paul supporter. Only thing remotely likeable about Romney and Gingrich is that they are not Obama. Not much different, but anything would be better than Obama.

Fuck you black bitch.I'm a Ron Paul supporter too but at this point it looks like Obama will probably be in again unfortunately.This country needs a strong leader which it has been lacking for a while.I would still rather have Obama than Romney or Santorum because I don't believe they would be good presidents,but I just wish Paul could get in.S-UNIT302 wrote:Obama!!!

I dont mind Paul to a point, but I just dont agree with some of his ideas, some of them just seem a little out there for me. I was rooting for santorum, but after last night, I dont see him winning. Romney just seems like a fake. If we could take Romneys knowledge of buisness, Gingriches hard nose personality, Santorums morals, and some of Pauls ideas, I think we would have ourselves a good president.....

That's what I'm saying though,I wish we could get a hell of a president so we could get a leader to get this country going in the right direction.BaltRavensFan20 wrote:ccdog23 wrote:Fuck you black bitch.I'm a Ron Paul supporter too but at this point it looks like Obama will probably be in again unfortunately.This country needs a strong leader which it has been lacking for a while.I would still rather have Obama than Romney or Santorum because I don't believe they would be good presidents,but I just wish Paul could get in.S-UNIT302 wrote:Obama!!!

But that's what I mean,we need somebody who doesn't care if the other politicians like him and isn't more concerned with being re-elected but if his country has became a socialist state where greedy politicians take advantage of us and can actually get some cooperation for the good of the people between the parties.I would prefer a Republican in office to give more power to the states and the people but out of the candidates idk if any besides Paul would actually bring about positive change,Santorum and Romney don't look like good candidates to me.I feel like I've derailed matt's thread so I wont make further posts on this here.CaptRCG2 wrote:ccdog23 wrote:That's what I'm saying though,I wish we could get a hell of a president so we could get a leader to get this country going in the right direction.BaltRavensFan20 wrote:ccdog23 wrote:Fuck you black bitch.I'm a Ron Paul supporter too but at this point it looks like Obama will probably be in again unfortunately.This country needs a strong leader which it has been lacking for a while.I would still rather have Obama than Romney or Santorum because I don't believe they would be good presidents,but I just wish Paul could get in.S-UNIT302 wrote:Obama!!!

Re: ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL! On Wednesday?
@ccdog
That is exactly why keeping Obama would be worse than Romney, Santorum, or Gingrich. If Obama (or any politician) get re-elected, they don't see that as though they were the lesser of the two evils. Instead they see that as a validation of what they've done and an invitation to keep doing more. So while I believe that whoever the Rupublicans nominate will simply be a right wing version of Obama, it keeps the drive for government control nonsense basically stuck in neutral on both sides. Perhaps when they figure out that we are not voting FOR them but simply AGAINST the other guy, people will decide that we've had enough of the back and forth politcal sham that has been going on. Then we will look not to change possession of the Presidency, but actually change to role of the Presidency and the role of government in our lives. A change that goes back to the original vision of our founding instead of this perversion of powers and authority that the Constitution does not give.
