Does anyone own this game? I forgot how much fun it was until a played it on my PS2 this weekend. The pregame stuff is actually better than NHL 12 lol. The commentary is pretty funny too because they made it more of an arcade game so the announcers just crack jokes and shit. Here's some gameplay:

I never owned NHL 2002 but I think that most of the old sports games were more fun than the new ones. NBA Live's pregame intros were awesome on the PS2, and Madden 03 might be my favorite Madden of all time. The franchise mode was so cool with having control over everything. Even concession prices, merchandising, along with everything else. And NBA Live 2004 will always be one of my favorites.

NHL 2002 HitZ!
HITZ was one of the funnest hockey games to play.
But I do remember that announcer guy. I feel like he was in 2004 and shit.

I think he was. 2004 was a weird year because it was when Dany Heatley got into car accident and so they had to take him off the cover. Too bad they sold a whole bunch of them with him on it, and I own one. I wanna keep it and see if it becomes a collector's item or something

PS. Remove the hockey game and replace it with N64's Wrestlemania 2000 or No Mercy and that scene is exactly what my buddys house ended up like on most weeknights. Fuck u man, no man, fuck you. Memories.....
