Alright I know many of you probably give 0 fucks about Wimbledon but I've noticed you're all trying to keep the discussion constant..so here goes:

who do you think will win? obviously we know it will either be Federer, Djokovic, or Nadal, but a few others seem to do well on the grass. I also think this is Federer's best chance to win another major, he's playing extremely well this year, with the exception of his french open semi-final loss to Djokovic, and he is without a doubt the best grass court player in the history of tennis.

Outside of these three, there are only a few real threats: Tsonga, Del Potro, and Fish.........Tsonga and Del Potro both have the power and speed to contend with the big three, particularly Tsonga, he has the potential to defeat any of them easily, and Del Potro has a great shot if he manages to return to his pre-injury form. Mardy Fish proved he can really play last year, and I believe he can continue that streak, look for him to breeze into the quarters barring an unlucky draw, if he manages to be in the same quarter as Federer then he has a great chance to move onto the semis because Federer has shown over the last few years that he is vulnerable to those that he was once not.

On the womens' side I'm giving it to Sharapova, she's playing excellent tennis right now and nobody really has a chance, unless Sharapova returns to her mentally challenged double faulting ways, she's got this one. Others with a chance include Kvitova, Azarenka, and Serena Williams, everyone else is wasting her time by showing up.

my predictions:

men's semis:

Federer > Djokovic : 7-6 6-7 7-5 6-4
Nadal > Tsonga : 6-4 6-7 5-7 6-3 6-3

Nadal > Federer : 6-4 3-6 7-5 7-6

women's finals:

Sharapova > Williams : 6-4 6-2

after looking at the bracket I've determined:

Djokovic's Quarter: Djokovic has absolutely no threats in his quarter, look for him to easily advance to the Semi Finals

Federer's Quarter: Federer only has one threat, Fernando Verdasco, but he hasn't played well the last few years to look for Federer to easily advance to the Semi Finals.

Murray's Quarter: Murray has Ferrer and Del Potro in his quarter, look for Del Potro/Ferrer to meet in the 4th round, and the winner of that match will undoubtedly defeat Murray in the Quarter Finals.

Nadal's Quarter: Nadal only has two threats in his quarter, Tsonga and Fish, but they are on the same half of the quarter so Nadal has the luck of only facing one of them. Look for Tsonga to give Nadal a fight in the Quarter Finals, could go either way.

Updated Semi Final prediction:

Federer vs Djokovic

Tsonga vs Nadal

I know none of you care about this, but it gives me something to do and I'm sure at the very least it provides interesting reading material for any sports fan.
