On why players go broke. On now. Seems pretty interesting, just giving the heads up.

They explained it pretty well on the show. Its more of a psychological thing. Most people start poor at 18-21 and dont reach maximum wealth until late 40s - 50s. By then they have learned how too manage money in small increments but these players get the money at 21 and havent learned how to make it last yet

Exactly, I think they said Vick had to hire several guys to manage his money.

I'd put everything in the bank, buy a house. Maybe buy a car. Only use money to pay for bills, and only carry around say $500 or so a month just for spending. Sounds like I'd be rich forever.

Think about putting a million dollars into a savings account. Even at 1% interest, that's $10,000 a year. That would be awesome

Thats exactly what I'd do. I'd pay off the house, pay off the car, etc. So all I would have to pay is taxes and insurance, along with the amenities....

I'm lucky to have parents who taught me how to handle money. I hardly buy things as it is. To me I'd rather have it in the future than now, seeing how the future looks.....

If I made millions of dollars, Id still live broke. I grew up poor. I am so used to not having nice things so it be weird and uncomfortable.
