Like alot of athletes, hes 2-3 years too late.

As for being a accessory to murder, who isn't? Ohh, honest and honorable people that kids should look up to instead of the gangsta felon wanna-bees we see propped up as idols and people our kids should look up to. Then you wonder why our world is in the shit hole it is.

Aside from his issue with the whole murder case (which I don't believe he did), hes been a pretty good player outside of the game. Hes done alot for the city of Baltimore. I don't see him as a gangsta fellon (uless your not refering to him in that sense), hes actually one of few athletes I wouldn't mind my kids looking up to, with how much passion he has for the game, his drive and all. Its a shame more pro football players don't share his same characteristics....

I can see why he is 2-3 yrs late. Can you blame him though, who wouldn't want another ring? Plus hes rarely gotten injured in his career, and the way he prepares and works out seems like it works. Hes was close to another ring last season if the FA mistake that was Lee Evans would have been a bit more desiring of that catch...

Its just a shame Ed Reed will probably never get a ring...

I love this guy. I know I'm a Bengals fan but the dude is just awesome. He's a great leader, a hell of a motivational speaker and a Hall of Fame player. I'm gonna miss him... expect when the Bengals play the Ravens, then HAHA BITCH YOU AIN'T GOT YOUR LEADER!

I love ray. He's a cool guy and some one i looked up to growing up. He's easily my favorite non Seahawk.

But honestly he should have retired before this happened:

Ray Lewis is probably the only person in the world that can get you excited to punch a baby right in the face.
