Am I the only person who think that the rule on a players age should be altered in the CBA?I think either they should remove the age limit or they should make it a requirement to be at least 2 years removed from High School.IMO this would not only help the players,but also the quality of basketball in the NBA and NCAA.

I like how the NFL does it. A player must be three years removed from high school. Therefore the players are more mature (although I dont think that would have helped DeMarcus Cousins) and so the college game becomes a regular team sport and not just a team with players who'll only play together for a year.

Yeah exactly,I mean look at the high point of the NBA,the 80s.You had Jordan,Magic,Bird,Hakeem,Drexler and all those guys had great multiple season careers in college where they tuned their skills and are now considered some of the greatest ever.

Not of fan of Basketball but yes. I mean I saw earlier this week that a UNC (or Duke?) Freshman who only played like 15 games was turning pro. I mean come on man. The NFL has it perfect in my opinion.

NHL on the other hand, I like that, but hate it. (Kids younger than me in the NHL, bastards)

Everyone I ever played with high school and college organized athletics believe guys should stick around for the full 4 years and get a degree.
