I don't see it happening. A "couple" of 2,000 yard seasons? Dude. 1 is amazing itself. 2? I HIGHLY doubt it.

120 yards a game for a season is an excellent season. Doing 120 yards a game for 5 consecutive seasons? Dude. You're a great RB, you're not fucking invincible.

lets do the math though..Petersen has been in the NFL for 7 years, he probably got at least 5 more at a very high level ( say 1500 per season ) ..that would put him within 1,000 yds of Emmits record ( that Emmit got on crutches and alot of Centrum Silver ) ..Petersen can do it and i hope to god he really does...Emmit was blessed to run behind a great O Line for 10+ years..Petersen hasnt had that luxury.
