So after Alex Smith got a 4 year $68 million extensions ($17 a year for simple math) I wanted to see where he ranked on the NFL QB money list.

So here is the top 16 based on AVERAGE PER YEAR. Laugh when you think it is necessary.

1. Aaron Rodgers
2. Matt Ryan (LOL)
3. Joe Flacco (LOL)
4. Drew Brees
5. Peyton Manning
6. Colin Kaepernick (LOL)
7. Jay Cutler (LOL)
8. Tony Romo (LOL) (Considering his age/ injury)
9. Matthew Stafford
10. Alex Smith (lol) (he doesn't turn the ball over and he can make plays to win, don't like the deal, but looking at who's ahead of him, I can't really laugh.)
11. Eli Manning (lol now, I don't remember when he originally signed the deal)
12. Andy Dalton
13. Phillip Rivers (He needs a new agent)
14. Big Ben
15. Sam Bradford (Rookie Deal, can't really say much.)
16. Tom Brady

Others of note: Chase Daniel- Making bank for never playing. 3.33 a year. More than Russell Wilson.

I agree. Flacco is overpaid but you gotta give him credit for his iron balls. Ravens offered him 16 mil a year before the SB run and he turned it down and bet on himself. Welp you know how the story goes.

He had arguably one of the best postseasons ever. But still, if you're the number 3 paid QB, you better be in the Conference Championship game at least every other year.

Well the man has been in the playoffs basically every season but last. That's more than I can say for some other QBs on that list *Cough*Matt Ryan*Cough*

Yeah Matt Ryan being #2 is fucking hilarious.

And Puppetz, the rankings also include signing bonuses.
