Headjobs
Figgered I'd start a topic on the hirings and firings of HCs that have been going on mainly cuz some of these are headscratchers.
Mr Arrogant and John Fox "mutually agreed" to part ways. Hell no. Call it what it is. A firing. I can kind of understand why since they definitly didn't look like they was ready to play in the SB and they looked like crap against the Colts but also PeyPey had a tear in his quad which for some reason the GM failed to report over several weeks apparantly but the thing is they went to the playoffs 3 yrs in a row with a bye. Who's gonna do better. Maybe the best thing is to make OC Adam Gaze(spel chek) the HC or are they just gonna throw a whole diffrnt system at Peyton. Just makes no damn sense.
Now the other good one. Rex Ryan taking the Bills job. What's he want to keep kissing Belichicks rings and get some revenge on the Jets. The Bills were ranked 4th I believe using a 4-3 on D. Ryan's a hybrid 3-4 so now he's gonna move Mario Williams back to OLB where he played like shit and had his worst years before and who you playing at the nose. Kyle Williams? He is not Kelly Gregg dumbfuck. And then again you're gonna have no QB. I don't think Greg Roman(former SF OC) is gonna make Manuel into a Kaep and would he really want to and Buff has no 1st rd draft choice. Atlanta would have been the perfect job. At least he could have had a decent QB and be able to completely retool a horrendous D. Sheeesh!!
And Doug Marrone you're lucky you had in your contract that you'd be paid 4 mil this year regardless if you leave. Not quite the hot coaching candidat you thought you were huh.
No wonder some teams just stay bad.

Re: Headjobs
Fun fact: Adam Gase is from my hometown. FUCK YOU BITCHES! WE GOTS US A HEAD COACH!
John Fox, and maybe S can clarify, has always seemed like a "meh" coach to me, I don't know if he's all that great. Sort of reminds me of Jeff Fisher, good enough to not get fired, but bad enough to not take the next step.
And of course Peyton choked in the playoffs again, I think I heard that this was the 7th time he went one and done. How often has Brady gone one and done? Hell, Andrew Luck has only gone one and done his rookie year.
I want to know what the fuck the Raiders are doing, you haven't heard shit from them.
I also don't want to lose our DC in Teryl Austin

yup my junior year
EDIT: side note, all the articles about him and mention HS they never have the right information about his role and our schools location.
1 said he was the HC, he wasn't. he showed up like 2 times a week, 1 being game day and called plays
2 said HS was in ventnor which is a lot like saying Las Vegas is in California. HS is in absecon on blue berry hill
3 said he innovated the whole extra O-linemen shit at HS, it is a school tradition where we subbed in a 6th and sometimes 7th o-linemen because we ran the zone blocking and liked to over load one side. We did that shit before any of us even knew him

Re: Headjobs
Yeah he's alright. Really good defensive mind/coordinator. Seemed kinda iffy when it came to motivation tho. His term "It is what it is" became popular among these here Panther parts for his lack of really giving a shit.MaddMatter wrote:Fun fact: Adam Gase is from my hometown. FUCK YOU BITCHES! If McDermott leaves us for a head coaching gig he should come back and be the DC LOL

I really wish we got an offensive guy but I can't complain. I respect the guys willingness to be aggressive on defense. I don't see the playoffs next year or possibly the year after that but hopefully we just get some stability, draft some talent, pick up guys in FA when we need them here or there.
The NY Jets should run more like the steelers and patriots rather than the browns and raiders

Re: Headjobs
The Bowles hiring is pretty good but the Jets success hinges big time on the new GM. And Chan Gailey as OC??
DelRio to the Raiders. I agree with S. Meh. Im hearing Mike Smith is gonna be the DC tho. It'll be Jacksonville reinvented again during the good times.

I don't get the 49ers hire at all.
No offense to Jim Tomshula, but the guy has never even coordinated an NFL game.Â
All I keep thinking is Rod Marinelli.

John Harbaugh didn't neither but he turned out pretty good. Curious hire tho.

Tomsula wasn't a head coach at any level, also there was reports fro 03 to 07, he was living in his car or something
49ers fans are in for a rude awakening

Re: Headjobs
John Fox to the Bears.
Silly hire. A team with offensive struggles hires a defensive mind.
Trestman as OC to the Panthers needs to happen. #FuckMikeShula

Bears sucked on defense too. I don't think the Bears have even hired a GM first. If not big mistake.

Re: Headjobs
Just closing this thread out with the last hire except for maybe coordinators and position coaches.
Dan Quinn getting hired by the Falcons which everybody knew was going to happen anyway. I'm not sure bout this hire cuz Bradley has had 2 pisspoor seasons with the Jags and I think a lot of the Seahawks D success was mainly due to great personel and phenomenal drafting but the Falcons be hurting on the D.

agreed...Quinn was nothing more than a puppet with a vanilla scheme that depends on great athletes to succeed...he doesnt have that in ATL...SOOOOO FUCKING HAPPY the Jets snatched up Bowles instead of this schmuck
