2015 Combine
So I think 2 or 3 of us will watch the combine at all. This isn't so much something to find prospects, just cross check them.
The guys who don't take part in certain events (I.E. QBs not throwing) really don't help their stock. The GMs are not looking at guys throwing at the combine and thinking, "oh we need to draft him because he threw the corner at the combine perfectly", they just want to see your motion, footwork, etc.
Anyway. I think some predictions
Mariota - 4.4 guy
Winston - 4.8, 4.9 guy
Williams from USC will have the most bench reps because dat du iz cray
Shaq Williams(?) from washington should be really fun to watch. He may be top 5 in every event regardless of position

I watch simply to listen to Charles Davis and Mike Mayock.
Plus you can watch the 40 yard dashes as you try to sleep.

the combine is better than white noise or recordings of the rain forest going to bed. Something soothing about the muffed silence broken by the beeps of equipment and mumbling of mayock and davis

cooper? wouldn't mind him. Gordon? with what Oline would he play for? We need a WR, we also need a good RT, and at least 1 guard in the draft or FA

Re: 2015 Combine
agreed EPIC, I would love Cooper at 6 but if we dont get Spiller thru FA then i think we need to go to game-changing HB if Cooper is gone...we need playmakers

dude, we need an offensive line. Brick is not a true LT and has been holding us back for a few years now. I can't count how many RTs we had since 2010. Guard has been a mess. Our only real linemen is mangold. We need to help out our QBs, RB, and Receivers by getting guys who won't get fucking man handled

Ray Rice is out there to run the rock for you and he'd also keep all the NY bitches in line.

Re: 2015 Combine
Leonard Williams from USC looks a bit slimmer than when I last saw him play. I've seen 4-5 USC games this year and he was a beast on the Dline and I think his measureables were around 310. The guy looks like he is 240 or 250. Solid build, kind of slender arms, but he looks a little like Chris Canty build wise

Re: 2015 Combine
Really like Vic Beasley, saw some of his workout and his interview. Seems like a good kid.
Also, I was never a fan of Hundley, but damn, he showed up on NFL N and spoke like an actual intelligent person. I could see him rising up some boards because of the way he interviews.

I think Hundley, Petty, and Mannon moved up some boards. I don't think we'll have a 2012 draft with 4 QBs in the top 12 but I think you'll see teams learn to be patient. The vikings too bridgewater at #32 and the raiders took carr with #33 last year.
Mariota I think hurt himself a little, It is the combine, I'm not freaking out, but his footwork was rough and he looks uncomfortable throwing the out route and corner. He obviously needs to learn how to torque his body towards the outside rather than rely on just arm with those throws.
