Draft Day

Yep it's here .  Got a brisket on the smoker and prepping the shoe pits. This is the weekend where the summer starts and the good times roll plus it nice with 11 days off in a row.

Seems like Tampa is not going to tell who they drafting or letting anybody know(including draftee) until that card is handed in to Goodell but I'd be surprized if its not Jameis. Then the shit is really gonna hit the fan. Is Tenn holding on to the pick or trading to somebody who wants Mariotta. Is Chip getting his guy? Are the Browns giving up on Manziel? Or could Mariotta drop like a rock? The suspense is good in this draft.

As for the Ravens it looks like Bud Dupree now is gonna be out of reach cuz of Ray and Gregory and since I don't think the Ravens are taking any chances this year we passin on them boys. Its gonna be BPA at either pass rusher,RB,TE,WR or DLine. I'm liking Kevin Johnson at corner the most but them damn Steelers are ahead of us and they're needing corners so its possible we might trade up to get whoever since we got the ammo with 10 picks. We have to look for depth cuz more players will walk next year as always happens.

Hope yall get some good picks sice I dont problems with none of your teams. Well maybe the Patriots.

If I'm rodger goodell, as commish, I'm figuring out how to nudge this in the right way. I'd call up the owners and say, "hey, guys, i'm pulling rank here and uh...we're going to have the eagles do some sneaky shit and get that 2nd pick"

I think it might be a 3 team trade if it happens
Eagles get the 2nd pick
Titans get at least 2 1st round picks
3rd team gets Bradford

Throw in kendricks and maybe some other probowl players to fill out the value

If we draft a ruuningback I'm going flipping nuts.

Leonard Williams? like...I get he is probably the best player but our Dline is deep enough, at what point do we say, "you know what...Mo, Sheld, Snax...now Leo..." we run a 3-4. Are they trying to go with Matt and I's idea to rush 3 and drop 8?

When I was watching the corners go and then Steelers taking Bud thats when I started thinking WR and we got the fastest I think but can he catch. They saying he lacks concentration. Hopefully coaching takes care of that.

I like what the Jets did. They took BPA over need. What a concept.

Also surprized Texans took Mariotta. Didn't think he was Whizzenhunts style of QB.

Glad the Bengals got a good OT. Looks like someone who can replace Andrew Whitworth when he retires or slows down

He seems like the kinda of guy built for the NFL. Michigan was terrible so in short he was terrible with them I assume? His QB was Gardner so i'm gonna cut him some slack that you are about to throw at him.

He's probably one of the most athletic players in the draft. But, he doesn't run good routes and he drops a ton of balls. For being the ONLY weapon on the team, you would have that he would have had a bigger impact, but he would disappear for GAMES at a time. Not a redzone threat, even though he should be. Had 4 TD's last year, but 3 were in the first game against Appy State. My buddy works with a backup lineman for Michigan, said he's got a dickish attitude as well.

If you can help him mature, get him to run routes and work on his hands, then it's a great pick. Like I said, he is arguably one of the most athletic players in the draft, but it doesn't translate.

Interesting. I believe if anyone can help a dickish attitude it will be our lockeroom. Two Walter Payton Man of the year award winners. Good staff. Him KB and Cam should get along. I think he'll be fine here.

They said WR. Looks like he got some chunky fat on him cause I think hes actually smaller than Kelvin Benjamin so I expect him to lose that.

Love the way the Ravens traded up to get Maxx Williams right in front of the Squeelers. Carl Davis(DT) looks like more depth on the DLine. So far I'm good but we need some corners.

I was a but curious with who Maudlin was at OLB but he played a lot for Charlie Strong and he said he was a favorite because of his motor. So I'm happy with the pick. We need a good pash rushing guy because we got no body.

We draft a LS from Navy. Its funny how long snapping has become its own position. I played for two schools in HS. One I played TE and DE. Then I became a QB at the next school. The only thing in common was Iwas LS for both schools. It was so easy I didnt understand why nobody could do it. I COULDA BEEN DRAFTED DAMN IT!!!! Would uhave drafted a 6' 1" 180 lb, 4.68 40yd long snapper? You cant even line up over center now so size isnt that big a deal. I COULDA BEEN SOMEBODY!!!!!
