Cliff Lee has recieved some heat so far this year for a lack of control at times and for already setting a career-high in walks. With that said, only a third of the season in Cliff Lee already has 100 strikeouts. This is a great accomplishment considering his career-high for strikeouts is 185. 85 to go!

Good on Cliff Lee. If only the Phillies could get some more run support.

Damn, you would think Verlander would have close to 100, but he's only at 83. He got there pretty quickly. Let's see how many he gets by the end of the season.

Yeah but its funny because a few weeks ago we had the worst statistical lineup that we have ever had. That just shows how well our pitching staff has performed because we need our line-up to warm up big time.

Phillies should trade Ryan Howard. I don't know what it is with that guy but for some reason, he hasn't gotten it in his head that striking out constantly is bad

His power makes up for it though, he hasnt hit as well for average this year but he and Placido Polanco are the only consistent hitters on the team.
