The last Movie You Saw & Rate It Thread
Pretty simple, any movie you've seen, whether it be in theaters or a classic just rate the movie and tell us what you liked or didn't like about it.
Watch Your Highness last night, was an alright move although I did think it would be better with the actors that were in it. Had some scenes that made the crowd laugh but im the type of guy who likes dry humor material so this wasn't always entertaining for me. I'd recommend you wait to watch in on DVD or something, unless you hear otherwise from your friends.

Last night I saw Ferris Bueller's Day Off on VH1. Still a great comedy. I can still remember the first time I saw it like 7 years ago.

That is a really good movie, saw it for the first time about 2-3 years ago
Oh another movie I watched, American Orgy, I know what your thinking but on netflix it said it was supposed to be a comedy. I didn't laugh once other than how bad the production was for this movie. It had no sense of direction and the acting was bland.

The last movie I saw in theaters was Paul (for free thanks to connections )
I've been a Simon Pegg fan since Shaun of the Dead so I felt like I had to see it.
One of the funnier parts in the movie was when Simon Pegg was trying to hit on this girl.
Pegg: I like your shirt
Girl: Thanks it's Jesus shooting Charles Darwin.
I laughed for a good 5 minutes, but I don't think the theater was that smart because no one really laughed.
I'd give it an 8/10. Definitely worth checking out.

Well actually the first time I saw Ferris Bueller's Day Off may have only been 5 years ago but you get the point
Last week I saw The Stepfather
Rate: 8.0- I'm not usually into gory (if you want to call it that) movies but I was really impressed by the acting and the plot line.
I also saw McGruber
Rate: 2.5- It was terrible, the best part was when the super team was killed in the C4-filled car, enough said

Hmm is there something up with the bolding? Cause I know we want to fix a couple of things if possible, I'll definitely bring it up to AT, he was working with the coloring.
Re: The last Movie You Saw & Rate It Thread
Yeah the problem with bolding is that it just something like this
Aside from that the forums are great, the site can use some tuning but it'll be good, great choice on the community members by the way
Oh no! I just went off topic!

Offtopic: Did anyone ask NatureBoy if he was interested in joining!?
Last movie I saw was the Orphan, It was one of the better Horror movies I saw. Before that I saw Human Centipede for the first time, one of the worst things I have ever seen in my entire life.
I plan on watching Jennifer's Body tonight which seems like a pretty good film. My favorite movie of all time is The mist.

Re: The last Movie You Saw & Rate It Thread
The natureboy comment was a joke and I do believe he was talking to me about the Human Centipede movie comment as well. Actually that wasn't me who made the thread about it, I think it was one of the Steeler fans, not sure which one. After watching it, it kinda got me obsessed with the idea of watching such a sickening movie, so I finally got to see it and I must say, Sickening to say the least.Thadden wrote:Are you talking to me? Just watched Hot Tub Time Machine on Netflix. Foul mouthed, raunchy, stupid movie but it gave me a few chuckles as I did grow up in the 80's. I would not recommend this movie to anyone unless you were REALLY bored.

Yeah I was told that Hot Tub Time Machine was only funny if you grew up in the 80's. Which I didn't so...

Good choice ccdog.
It's a very underrated flick. I think what hurt the film over the years was that it followed 'The Godfather' and 'The Godfather II'. The timing of the release sort of put it on the back shelf over the decades. Overall though, it had great acting and solid directing by Sergio Leone. I normally give it a 7/10 when asked to rate it.
The last movie I saw was 'The Fighter' and it was fantastic. I am a huge boxing fan, but non-boxing fans would like it. Wahlberg held his own. I mean, he played a Boston-born guy which he does in just about every one of his films. Christian Bale stole the show. He played an excellent Dicky Eklund.
I highly recommend it. When it comes to sports-related films, I give it a 9/10.
Still, it's no 'Raging Bull'.

Re: The last Movie You Saw & Rate It Thread
The last movie i saw was Battle: LA.
I love action movies especially when they're a bit over the top like B: LA is.
It has the stereotypical soldiers and great acting by Aaron Eckhart (sp?). Some of the critics hate it for that reason but i loved it. If you like Action movies with stereotypical soldier characters then this one is for you.
I'll give it a 9/10.
Another movie i watched recently was Surrogates.
I love Bruce Willis but i didnt really care for him in this movie. It seemed almost like they tried to make his role smaller than it was... It was a decent movie with some decent acting.I'd rent it instead of buying it however.
I'll give it a 7/10
