NHL Prediction Playoff Game

Hey if we are all gonna move over here, we might as well get the good shit started up again.

Alright, make your picks on the series('s?), and I'll tally up the winners and update the game counts as often as possible.
Deadline is Tonight (Wednesday the 13th) by 7pm EDT.

I think we should do 2 points for picking the team and 1 point if we pick the correct # of games.

I like that. Okay here's the new plan. For the first round, it will just be 1 point for the correct team. From the 2nd through subsequent rounds, we'll do 2 points for the team and 1 point for the games.

If you get the number of games, but not the team, you get 1 point.

How's that work for everyone?

I would still make the first round 2 points for the correct team then. IMO, I don't think you should get any points for wrong team and correct # of games. It's not deserving of a point to say Lightning in 4 games, and then Pens sweep them. It's like a bonus awarded if you get the right team.

Lets have the 1st round play out and we'll pick it up once the next round starts.

So here is my thought, let me know folks:

The first round is 1pt per correct team picked. From hereon, you get 1pt per team picked correctly and then if and only if you pick the correct team you get 1 extra bonus pt if you pick the correct number of games.

Sooo....are we just counting the first game as a wash or what?
