This guy comes off as a baby. Oh, and Chicago is retarded for giving him all that money. He's nothing but a power hitter and time after time we see examples where players who are simply power seem the shine then fade. If he hit for a better average, it would be fine. But he can't even do that! Add that onto the constant striking out, and you got yourself a shitty hitter.

Power hitters dont hit for average though, they hit for power. RBI's and homeruns are all that matter. Then there is also this other fact that nobody in the world seems to be able to grasp but power hitters strike out a lot.HurpDurpHurray wrote:http://ca.sports.yahoo.com/mlb/news?slug=jp-passan_adam_dunn_slump_quitting_072011

This is all just in general. In Dunn's case he is hitting terribly and although he is a power hitter his average of .158 is ugly. Dunn's problem is that even his power numbers are down. I think the article mentioned he's only hit 9 homers.

He didn't want to be a DH before getting signed but look where he is now...
I don't see him quitting, hopefully he gets traded though. Since he loves baseball. He has always been bad against lefties, but never this bad. I'm sure he's trying, but maybe he's just trying a little too hard.
