Jawalrus isnt the only reason they need to enforce a rookie salary cap, but he is definetly a BIG reason for it...i read somewhere recently that over the last 10 seasons there has been almost 3 billion dollars shelled out to 1st round picks in gaurenteed money, and most of those players arent even in the NFL anymore...i agree that Rookies need to earn thier $$$ and then get rewarded after 3 seasons by signing a new deal...not pay a guy like Jawalrus 40 million for absolutly nothing...also he must be bankrupt cause he owes 200k on his house and hasnt paid the bill
