Mike Trout: Rookie of the Year? Empty Mike Trout: Rookie of the Year?

This guy is amazing. Didn't start playing until the end of April and he's batting .309 with 5 homers, 19 RBIs, 8 stolen bases and 3 triples. But this is even crazier: The Angels record since he's been called up is 21-12. And this kid's only 20

he played near me in high school so when he was drafted it was a big deal. i met him at a party my sophomore year, pretty big guy. i dont know to much about him other than he is athletic and from like 2 towns over.

he is a good ball player, i saw a few angels games and watching him almost reminds of jeter. i know they play separate positions and styles. but jeter is a go to work type guy. trout plays hard, fundamental, and quiet

He's just really exciting to watch. I can see him becoming something like a Matt Kemp, Andrew McCutchen type player that could be a 30/30 guy every year

no doubt, the guy is talented. i think as he and bryce harper develop and grow up, people will watch them two guys and start this new era of baseball. pretty interesting to watch

I don't know I want to see how Smyly finishes out the season. He has pitched pretty well. Over his first 4 or 5 starts he had like a 1.50 ERA. He's struggled a bit since then but he's still pitching pretty well.

It seems like every run he gives up is from a homer. I'd want to check his stats and see how many runs his given up from base hits instead of homers.
