Would You Start Peterson Week 1?
I think this is a fairly tough question.
If you were the head coach of the Vikings, would you start Adrian Peterson week 1?
Things to keep in mind:
The head coach could be on the hot seat, and you know Peterson is your best chance to win games and help keep your job.
BUT
While I was rehabbing my ACL, the last day of Physical Therapy my trainer guy said to be careful for at least another month before I do to much. He also said that the graft for the ACL was only at about 50%, which is why you lift a lot of weights. You have to rebuild your strength up in your thigh/glut area to help compensate for the ACL while it recovers. Keep in mind I had surgery within a week of when AP had his, and he didn't just tear his ACL, but his MCL and his Meniscus. But he also has professional trainers and his job is to work out everyday.
If it were me, I would not risk losing AP, I would at the very least put him on the PUP list, and ease him back into things after that. Just to make sure he is 100% healthy, because if you lose AP for the season again, you're screwed either way.

I would probably take it easy on him,you can't risk losing a guy who is probably the best at his position when healthy for the entire year.
