Re: Super Bowl: Ravens vs. 49ers
Yeah I know you can use it for any fanbase; it just so happens that the Ravens are the geographic rivals of the Redskins, so they are the fans I tend to dislike.
though, being 45 minutes from Baltimore and D.C., I would never call natives of this area bandwagoners (of Redskins or Ravens)

A lot of panthers fans seem to hate the redskins for whatever reason. I have no beef with you guys tough.Pintsizedjark wrote:Yeah I know you can use it for any fanbase; it just so happens that the Ravens are the geographic rivals of the Redskins, so they are the fans I tend to dislike.

No offense balt.Pintsizedjark wrote:Stephen wrote:Pintsizedjark wrote:Ravens fans are the worst, they all seem to talk about the Redskins more than Redskins fans do.
a die hard Ravens fan posted on facebook a few weeks back during a Patriots game:
"Wow, Tom Brady is a top notch quarterback, I would definitely take him over RG3"
at least 20 ravens fans posted saying they were glad RG3 tore ligaments in his knee, they were glad his future was in jeopardy.
now I'm all for disliking players, rivals, coaches, etc...but mentioning RG3 in that post was random and unnecessary, and nobody in their right mind should ever wish for or be glad a player tore his LCL and ACL and could miss anywhere between 7-12 months..like, I can understand being glad that Adrian Peterson pulled his hamstring and had to miss one game against your favorite team; but being happy that a player had a significant injury is going too far.
Eh, you will get used to other teams fans bashing on your superstar QB. Just give it time.
I only used RG3 as an example because he just happens to be the quarterback of the team geographically closest to the Ravens; the same could be said for any pair of rivals with any pair of players.
I just happen to hate Ravens fans because the majority of them are idiotic and
The problem I experience is Steelers fans, Patriots fans, and Cowboys fans. None of them are geographically acceptable, and none of the fans have any shred of knowledge about their team or even the sport. They talk shit about my team all day, its just how it goes.
Don't let them affect you unless their real fans. In that case, you need to establish a bloody rivalry that will last years between you and them. It will lead to a fight to the death, so get ready.
Just quiz fans to determine the real fans from the bandwagoners
This^
Definately This^
I've never seen teams with such a large bandwagon fanbase before as the pats, steelers, and cowboys. Most claim they are real fans when they don't know squat about any of those three teams, then they feel the right to bash other teams/rivals, it just pisses me off. Where were you before the team stated doing well? Oh, thats right you jumped on the wagon after they started winning

If you hate me thats cool Personally I have no issues with the redskins or their fans. Every team has its group of morons and idiots, thats just the way it is, just have to weed out the good fans from the bad. I like our little beltway rivalry to be honest, I think its fun...

In that case, they are homers which have unexpected similarities to bandwagoners. The only difference is that they can admit that their team is badPintsizedjark wrote:Yeah I know you can use it for any fanbase; it just so happens that the Ravens are the geographic rivals of the Redskins, so they are the fans I tend to dislike.

This all still hasn't sunk in for me yet. All your life you wish your team to go to the SB, then when it happens, its even harder to believe. Its almost surreal if you think about it enough... I know footballs just a game and all, but when your a big fan its hard not to be like this

Let's go over some of the things/people that have happened to the Niners organization since the last time we were respectable (not in chronological order):
Jeff Garcia.
Tai Streets.
TO.
Jim Mora Jr.
Mike Nolan.
Mike Singletary.
Fucking Dennis Erickson
Kwame Harris
Kentwan Balmer ( the single worst draft decision we ever made... looking at you Kwame Harris).
The Dre Bly interception return fumble against ATL.
Mike Rumph.
Mark Roman (wow look at how far we've come since this asshole)
Alex Smith (ha)
Kevin Barlow.
Rashaun Woods
JT Sullivan.
Shaun Hill.
Chilo Rachal.
Nef, I know you remember many highlights (lowlights?) from this group. I'm so happy about this year.

LOL most of those names I remember from 2K5. Did we suck on that game or what? LOL
Oh and how could I not forget about the Dre Bly play? We're getting killed, he picks it off with open field and decides to high step right away, hahahahahaha and then Roddy White strips the ball hahahahahaha. Awww man what a ride.
Dude I remember draft day and we got Balmer, my bro and I were like "who the )($#* is that?" (kinda like AJ Jenkins)
Oh and if you ever wanted to complete a pass, look for Mark Roman and throw it his direction.
Yea bandwagoners won't enjoy this Super Bowl like the true fans. LOL remember Singletary dropping his pants? hahahahahaha Or how about Nolan in his suit on the side?

Hey Shaun Hill is a decent QB.
Sullivan on the other hand...he sucked. His first career TD was to Megatron against the Vikings 2nd quarter, week 2, 2007 and I want to say in the 2 minute drill as well because Kitna left/came back? With a concussion...or something weird. BAM!

Some stupid publicity stunt by the moron who runs the company. Theres so much crap out there that shows Ray didn't do it its not even funny. PLus if you noticed its dropped out of coverage a little bit, so I think the media basically found out its a joke...
Not to mention I don't see the issue of it. It helps heal, it doesn't enhance your performance, so why its banned I don't know. Researchers even said there is no way to inject it into your system, its a spray.

Actually some college professor came out and said that the substance in the deer antler shit is only usable through injection. So if Ray bought a swimming pool worth of this spray and just bathed in it for a week.... nothing would happen.
It's a non-story and I guess the guy accusing Ray has been sued over this type of shit before.
If they actually start testing for HGH though.... Ray probably is best retiring after this year lol
