Worst case he fails and they cut him. The most the Hawks are out is the last tradeable pick in this years draft.

True, but whats to stop him from being lazy and asking for a release so he can go somewhere else if he wants to start that bad? Either way hes not going to be able to show another team his abilities and if hes improving, if hes at the back of the QB line. I don't know, to me his situation hasn't changed imo, if he wants to start, he can't be anymore happy where hes at now.

They were going to release him but the Seahawks stepped up with this trade cuz they knew they wouldn't stand a chance to pick him up thru the waiver wire.
