Current HOF players?
In commemoration of the HOF, this got me thinking about current players. Pick 5 current players that if they did NOT play another snap, they deserve to be in the HOF. Let's say Brett Favre and Randy Moss are retired!
1. Tom Brady
2. Peyton Manning
3. Tony Gonzalez
4. Ray Lewis
5. Brian Urlacher
On the Bubble:
LT and Hines Ward
1. Tom Brady
2. Peyton Manning

Re: Current HOF players?
Ray Lewis - Best MLB in NFL history IMO. Lead one of the best defenses in NFL history and won a Superbowl.
Tony Gonzalez - I think this man has every TE record in the league, and probably a few WR records. If that's not enough to get in, I don't know what is.
Ladanien Tomlinson - One of the best backs in league history. I think he has the most rushing TDs in a single season. At least at one point he did.
Payton Manning - I believe he has four league MVPs now, a Superbowl MVP, IMO the best regular season QB ever.
Tom Brady - 3 rings, 50 tds in a single season, the most clutch QB in the history of the league. This man makes chicken salad out of chicken shit every single year. His 3 Superbowl wins were all with crap WRs. In my honest oppinion, when it's all said and done, he will be the best QB to ever play the game.
The scary part is, Brady and Manning still have years left.

Re: Current HOF players?
I know you said to keep it to players still playing but i'm going to name some one else who just retired last offseason and also because everyone worthy right now had been said or i cant remember them
Seahawks LT Walter Jones... One of, if not, the best offensive tackles to play the game. Guy was a monster on the offensive line... a true beast. He should be a first ballot HOFer and if it isnt i'll cry east coast bias.

In no order:
Brady
Manning
Tomlinson
Ed Reed
Adam Vineteri - they need more kickers in the Hall.

This is about as definite as it gets, but if I had to pick someone from the Cowboys it would have to be Witten.legendkiller716 wrote:Ray Lewis - Best MLB in NFL history IMO. Lead one of the best defenses in NFL history and won a Superbowl.
