Interesting list here. Demarcus Ware at #3 and JPP hitting the top 10 at 7. Chris Gamble finally getting some love though at 93.
Interesting list.

Re: CBS Sports top 100
personally i think Dwight Freeney at 34 is a HUUUUGE stretch for this list, especially considering they are basing it of last years performances...Freeny had no excuse NOT to get his expected 10-12 sacks + sacks...if they are going off of "potential" then where does that put Peyton Manning? he should have been Top 3 at the very least....and what kind of Top 100 doesnt have Mark Sanchez on it ? pffft

All of them lol
And idk Ryan is not that amazing. Romo should definitely be higher than him, and Ray Rice should be higher as well. So pretty much, this list sucks.

Like what is Matt Ryan's "thing." Like what is he suppose to be the best at? He's not deadly accurate. (Less than a 61% career) He has yet to break the 30 TD mark. His QB rating is below 90.
I just don't see it.
I would take Romo, Stafford, Newton, over him.

Earl Thomas that low? 5th best safety. I'd take it but i sure as shit dont like it.
I'd have him as the Third best safety behind Reed and Troy.

Eric Weddle is better than Troy apparently.

Dont get me wrong, I dont see him in the top 20, but around 50 is a bit low in my opinion. He IS our Offense, hes lead the league in yards from scrimage, is up there with the likes of Forte, Foster, etc. Hes a dangerous dual back. Oh well, its only a list..... I would put him in the 30-45 range....

Ray Rice was their leading receiver. That's something in itself. (Que the Joe Flacco comments lol) But yeah, Balt would know this better than me, but I bet in the last 2 seasons he has close to or over 3500 all purpose yards.

thats the only reason i tend to rag on Ray Rice, because Joe Flacco doesnt know who anybody else on the team is, he sends them all on streaks and dumps it off to Rice and with a 10 yard cushion Rice is going to pick up yards, its basically stat padding and i dont like it,lol...Rice is a decent HB but iagree with his placement here, as a matter of fact i would have AP in there in front of him too

Stat padding, really? If it works, and it throws people off balance why not use it? If you dont like it than stop it., thats how I see it. Cause untill you stop ray rice from those dump off passes they are just going to keep doing it untill it doesnt work anymore. To me nothing is stat padding in the nfl if it helps you win. The only stat padding I have seen is what Brady did last season (or the season before) by racking up his stats to beat the one record.

In the last TWO seasons? He would have had to break 2000 yards rushing for that to happen.
